CoD-V.1.4.1- Confessions:

I must confess something to you, my faithful horde of blog-readers- all three of you: you may have noticed as time has gone by (you know, every morning after you brush your teeth and have your quiet times, when you go to check my blog for updates, as is usual in your morning routine) that no new posts were forthcoming for several weeks- almost a month in fact.
The truth is that there's been a struggle going on in my mind- on the one hand, a lot goes on in my life that is relevant to me. In fact, I would be so bold as to state that almost everything that happens in my life has some impact on me. On the other hand, the next step on my journey to Africa would have been to hear back from AIM, and it was my desire to update my blog as soon as I heard from them- which I did, but which took longer than I expected.
The dichotomy remains then, playing in my mind- do I use this blog as my 'fishbowl'- writing about everything that happens to me, as some bloggers before me have done, and thus risk becoming mundane and boring?
Or do I wait, and blog only when very significant events happen as I had originally planned- making this a blog which people could check just to make sure I'm still alive? This approach, however would risk large periods of emptyness, which in turn leads to the risk of having my faithful blog-readers explode in anticipation and suspense.
Well, I could not have you exploding on my account, and therefore I have decided to compromise- there is much that happens in my life that affects me, for the better or for the worse, but which either way prepares me for my life in ministry. I have decided to blog about this, while at the same time refraining from telling you about every knee-scrape, much to my mother's disappointment.
As a result of this, I am happy to be able to tell you that from now on (hopefully), for the next few months, you will no longer be disappointed to see no new posts for weeks on end when you do your daily Dan's Deep checks.
Well, that's the idea anyways- let's hope it works!
