Jer and I with Tim on our shoulders back at our one-year evaluation retreat in July.

Me with Tim in my arms as Caleb watches agog. Hopefully this isn't the start of a pattern...

Tim the monkey-man climbing a coconut tree in front of our house.

A mother duck and her ducklings. Just because ducks are not only fun to watch as they waddle hither and thither, but also because they're very delicious.

Jer on the homemade backyard barbecue. Sadly, that is not duck that he's barbecueing...

Here's me chasing a calf. In fact, the calf was too fast for the picture, and has thus left us with nothing but it's rear end. I, on the 'other hand' (haha), was too slow, so all you can see is my hand (right side). Thankfully dinner did not depend on my catching that bovine.

I really wanted to share with you one of the more wonderful of my daily sights- for several months now Jer won't leave home without his trusty parasol. It's a joint effort to beat sunburn and skin cancer, but it also makes for wonderful entertainment for the whole family. Yes, those are colourful little flowers on his umbrella.

Two of the little boys having a little boys' p-break.

Two of the big boys having a big boys' p-break.

One of the many snakes I've either killed, helped kill, been involved in the killing of, or whose slaughter i've witnessed. You'd think the snakes would get the hint and avoid the village, but that hasn't happened yet. The Zaramo hate snakes, and from stories i hear, it seems snakes aren't so keen on the Zaramo either...
