CoD 1.4.9- Pictures! (part 1)
My buddy Ryan (El Extrano- his last name is DeWeerd, and he's going to be a missionary to the Dominican Repiblic) and I have been trying for some time to meet every Saturday morning for prayer - and the meetings are finally taking off! We've met each Saturday in the last four weeks, and have had a consistent number of people joining us. L-R: Caroline, Ben, Ronnie, Ashlee and Ryan on Sept 9th.
Labour Day (Sept 4th), Ryan and I helped move some of Abby's stuff to U of Waterloo. L-R: Ryan's Truck (Carmelita Esmeralda Clementina Macarena de la Vega), Abby, Ryan.
My sister Suzana recently left for Columbia University in NY. This is her with my grandfather, who's over visiting (he's 88!)
When Sue first visited NY city she bought me a fedora. As it happens, it 'turned-out' to be half a size too small for my magnificent, resplendent cranium, but just the right size for her little noggin'. Convenient.... This is Sue just before she left for Columbia, the Ivy league school for geniuses with little noggins.

Dim Sum lunch at Kingsley a few weeks ago. L-R: Ronnie, waitress (not with us), Dave (hogging the curried chicken feet), Jeff (wishing he had the curried chicken feet), Lawrence (depressed about the general worldwide lack of curried chicken feet), Melissa's arm and chopstick (eating steamed tripe), and Thomas' hand (reaching out to take the steamed tripe from Melissa. By force if necessary).

You know? Your blog smells of fish. I was wondering why. And then I thought about those annoying transparent yellow pills that we were forced to take when we were kids. And then I looked at the list of titles... CoD. Cod Liver Oil. No wonder. You're dredging up harrowing childhood memories my friend.
Hey, does your Avô still think I'm insane? I'm working on my portugese. Not really.
Great pics, Dan! You have a knack for making ordinary pictures incredibly interesting with your descriptions. :) By the way, you weren't supposed to tell anyone the name of my truck!! That was a secret!! ;)
Wow, I didn't know my hair was that long... interesting.
I love Suzana in the fedora.
