CoD V.1.6.2- The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly:
Thought I'd give you good folk an update on how everything's coming along. As many of you know, I'm done much of the prep-work I need to do before I leave - which is great. With 98 days left for D-day, this has been an interesting week...
The good is that my support is coming along! I'm currently at 85% of my one-time, going-away support needs, and at around 50% of my monthly-support pledges; so if you want to join in, this is the time to do it! :D After all, how often do you have the opportunity to support such a dapper, dashing, dangerously handsome, frighteningly talented, and ridiculously modest young man?! Don't get left behind!
The bad is that my arm's been sore for the last week or so from the constant puncturing. I'm finishing up my innoculations, having gotten my second rabies shot (of three) and my typhoid vaccination yesterday. I got my first rabies shot and my yellow-fever shot (for which I had to sign a disclaimer stating that I was aware that the shot could kill me, with odds of 100,000-1 against) last week, and I get my last rabies shot and my meningitis shot in two weeks. If getting shot wasn't bad enough, these shots are also ridiculously expensive- each rabies shot is $170.00! I've spent over $500.00 in the last two weeks in innoculations- makes me wonder whether it wouldn't be a better business venture to just take out a large insurance policy, and not get innoculated. But then I might not be around to cash in on my gamble...
And the ugly is Eli Wallach. Also, this dog. His name is Sam. He is the ugliest dog in the world. And proud of it!

Just to clarify here- Sam Thomas is the personnel coordinator for AIM Canada, a very wonderful person- NOT related in any way to the cryptkeeperly-ugly dog Sam.
Dan, really should that dog be on your site? It's so NASTY... and creepy...take that pic off!!!
